Abstract: Videogrammetry technique, which relies on video recordings as a source to obtain the images required for the modelling process, is an optimal technology in the 3D modelling process, and it constitutes a suitable alternative to the traditional methods used in photogrammetry. In this research, a comparative study was carried out for three types of cameras, where a camera (Canon PowerShot SX20) was used to obtain still images of the archaeological statue, with the application of photogrammetric requirements in scanning and processing operations, and the adoption of their products as a reference to evaluate the accuracy and validity of the three dimensional products obtained from operations Video recordings of the archaeological statue for two different types of cameras attached with smartphones (Samsung Galaxy Note3 - Huawei Honor 8 lite) with two different resolutions (HD-FHD). The video recording process was conducted to ensure comprehensive coverage of all parts of the archaeological statue completely freely without any requirements Restricted to the imaging scheme adopted when performing photogrammetric scans. The video recordings showed a high spatial accuracy in the production of 3D digital models with respect to the horizontal coordinates RMSx,y = 0.02m, and a very high discriminatory ability for the details of the archaeological statue.
