GORS 14 - 2 Data security theoretically and practically in the protection and investment of digital maps

Abstract

Abstract: One of the most important factors contributing to the efficiency of the decision-making system is the availability of data in a reliable and rapid manner. As data is one of the most important assets of enterprises, it must be maintained in such a way as to ensure the secure investment of such data. In this research, an analytical study has been conducted according to the requirements of the Ministry of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform to distribute the maps of production capability of the soil and topographic maps accompanying it to the directorates and extension units in the governorates. A practical methodology has been proposed to utilize these digital maps in a protected manner by designing a special program with an interactive interface that provides all the necessary processes to obtain the required information.
